Nutrition labels look complicated, but they're really pretty simple once you know how to read them. They give a lot of important information about the food you're eating.
Remember the numbers on the label refers to ONE SERVING of the food. Some packages just have one serving of food in it, so the numbers refer to the entire package. But other packages might have many servings (like a bag of popcorn or cereal), so make sure you know how big a serving is.
When you're trying to eat healthier, minimize saturated fats, sugars, and sodium. Try to eat more unsaturated fats, fiber, protein, vitamin D, and calcium.
This video repeats some of the nutritional label information from the previous video, but it adds a very important subject: the ingredient list and how to read it. With a little practice you'll get good at quickly looking at at a nutrition label and deciding whether the food is healthy or not and how to incorporate it into your daily eating plan.
