Take Charge of Your Health

Welcome to KOKO Chronic Care's Weight Loss Program. The program has five sections:

  1. Nutrition. Learn about food and create your own healthy meal plan.
  2. Exercise/Lifestyle. How exercise helps you lose weight and create your own exercise program.
  3. Weight Loss Medication
  4. Surgery: When is it right?
  5. Local Support 

Start with the Nutrition section and work your way through all five sections. When you're done, you will:

  1. Have a better understanding of the food you're eating
  2. Understand carbohydrates, fats, and protein
  3. Know how to avoid unhealthy foods, particularly unhealthy carbs and fats
  4. Create a healthy daily eating plan that will allow you to lose weight
  5. Make healthy lifestyle choices
  6. Have a better understanding of the role of exercise in weight loss
  7. Create a daily exercise program for yourself
  8. Understand weight loss medications and whether they are right for you
  9. Understand weight loss surgery and whether it is right for you
  10. Have ideas on how to stay motivated and stay on the program.
