Calories

Calories

Calories are a measure of energy. We take in energy in the form of food, and burn energy by moving and just keeping our body going. In general, to maintain a constant weight, the calories we eat need to equal the calories we burn each day.

To lose weight, we need to eat fewer calories than we burn. KOKO's body composition measurements give a very accurate measure of what your body burns each day, which allows us to develop an eating plan that provides fewer calories and therefore leads to weight loss.
